The Thai Tanic mushroom is yet another beautiful strain from Thailand, named for its propensity for bitterness when consumed, a property common of foods with high levels of "Tannin". Intentionally, this strain was supposed to sound like the word "Titanic" as well, to express the sinking fluid emotion some have experienced. While our spores are for research only, indigenous cultures in Thailand have learned to revere this mushroom and include in personal or communal ceremony in which the mushroom is frequently consumed. It was introduced to western mycologists not too long ago, who now are able to study its beautiful spores under the microscope. Thai Tanic is a beginner-level strain with a rich cultural history and interesting name to back it up.
