Spore prints will typically contain anywhere from two to four times as many spores as a syringe of the same variety, however it takes quite a lot more skill and sterile technique for desired results. This is due to the fact that a spore syringe will only ever be exposed to the air and thus contaminants through its tiny opening at the tip of the needle, whereas a spore print will be totally exposed to the air once the sterile foil is opened. Unless of course you are carrying out your experiment in a laminar flow hood, which is highly recommended if you are interested in working with prints, or even spore swabs for that matter. All spore products ship within 1 business day, and will ship in a very discreet plain box or bubble mailer, with no indication of what it is inside or outside of the box.
